Sonam Kapoor wrote a heartfelt note at the beginning of 2024, looking back on the previous year’s events. Sonam wrote in her note, “This past year has been quite the experience. accepting our new role as parents and all of its associated joys and anxieties. Realising that I had undergone significant emotional, physical, and spiritual change—a change that is accompanied by suffering, acceptance, and ultimately excitement. Sonam also discussed some personal struggles she was having with her husband Anand Ahuja’s health. Then there was my husband’s illness, which no doctor could identify for three months before they finally figured it out and he recovered fully. Thank God and Dr. Sarin for the hell that was.
“Transferring talent agencies, leaving my old house, and relocating four times! It has been the most difficult, amazing, rewarding, and enriching year ever, starting anew at work, trying to spend time with my amazing friends and family, and supporting my husband in his work and his exponential growth at work. I’m hoping that this year will be filled with all the growth and lessons that come with ups and downs. I hope everyone realises that there is no point to war. Sonam Kapoor continued, “Praying for all the lives lost in this unjust and horrific war, where only civilians and children are being harmed while people in power are just sitting there acting like monsters.
