The first teaser for Prabhas’s pan-Indian action comedy Salaar Part 1 follows Animal. Ceasefire has a duration of 3 minutes and 47 seconds, making it another lengthy one.
The trailer for Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire has finally surfaced after a protracted wait. After the success of last year’s hit KGF: Chapter 2, Prashanth Neel directs his debut film, an action entertainment with Prabhas in the main role. (Also Read: Salaar was written by Prashanth Neel prior to KGF; “it could make a proper six-hour film”).
What is seen in the teaser
The teaser takes us to the made-up city of Khansaar, where invaders dubbed “more dangerous than Mahmud of Ghazni and Genghis Khan” have taken control. The city’s heir apparent is Prithviraj Sukumaran—that is, until the invaders launch a strong invasion and seize control.
After that, prithviraj calls upon his boyhood buddy Deva (played by Prabhas), who made a vow to always look out for him and his people. After that, Deva goes back to Khansaar to seize the throne and exact revenge on his closest friend.
The teaser also has brief appearances by Jagapathi Babu and Shruti Haasan. In this action entertainment, which is yet another two-hero pan-Indian film similar to SS Rajamouli’s tentpole from last year RRR, which starred Ram Charan and Jr NTR, Prabhas and Prithviraj are seen teaming up and carrying a punch.

About Salaar
The same technical crew from the popular KGF series is involved in this massive production, which is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Prabhas is working with filmmaker Prashanth Neel for the first time. Both have recently wrapped up massive blockbusters, Adipurush and KGF: Chapter 2, respectively.
With 14 enormous sets built in and around Ramoji Film City, the movie promises to be grandiose like nothing you’ve ever seen on a large screen.
On December 22, Salaar—which is being produced in five languages—will open in theatres in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. It will compete with Shah Rukh Khan’s Bollywood blockbuster Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
