In 2023, Sunny Deol made a remarkable return with the release of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. This year, Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, also known as Gadar 2, with Sunny and Ameesha Patel, dominated the box office. The actor recently discussed his experiences as a parent, describing how his father, the seasoned actor Dharmendra, used to be.
“There should be a fear factor,” Sunny Deol says in reference to his equation with Dharmendra.
Sunny Deol, the father of Rajveer and Karan Deol, was recently questioned by NDTV about his role as a father. They are a strict family, the Gadar 2 actor continued. “We used to be at home after school because I was not allowed to leave between 7-8 p.m. I didn’t even give my kids a phone until after they graduated from school, Sunny added.
Speaking about his friendship with Dharmendra, Sunny said that fear ought to exist. “I was afraid of my dad a lot. I’m going to just get up and move and shut up if my dad comes around. It is how things are. Its beauty lies in that.

Sunny Deol praises his brother Bobby Deol
Sunny Deol, Bobby’s brother, praised the actor who recently garnered a lot of love and attention for his brief but significant role in the Ranbir Kapoor film Animal. He claimed to have given his younger brother his two cents.
He said, “I’m very glad for him. It was long overdue, and he was treated unfairly by many.” He went on to say that while people would say things like “Bobby is a sweet boy,” nothing would be done about it.
